Vivo is dropping a barrage of new smartphones in the market and after the launch of Y53s 5G last month, the company announced its 4G counterpart.
However, it’s not just a 4G compliant version of the Y53, but the two smartphones have different spec sheets. So without any delay let’s get into the details of the new phone.
Vivo Y53s 4G Overview
For starters, the Vivo Y53s 4G is powered by the Helio G80 SoC, while the 5G model has a Snapdragon 480 chip on top. In addition, the selfie has a megapixel boost from 8 MP to 16 MP and the primary from 64 MP and the 2 MP macro cameras on the back are now connected by a 2 MP depth sensor.
The refresh rate of the display has dropped from 90 Hz to 60 Hz, but the battery charging speed has increased from 18 W to 33 W. On the front of the software, the smartphone runs Android 11 Funtouch OS 11.1. instead of OriginOS, as the latter is currently exclusively available in China.
The rest of the 4G features of the Y53s remain the same as the 5G model, which means you get a 6.58 “FullHD + LCD, 8 GB (virtual + 3 GB) of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5,000 battery .mAh.
The Vivo The Y53s 4G also features a USBC connector, a dedicated microSD card slot, and an advertised side-mounted fingerprint reader to unlock the smartphone in 0.24 seconds.
Price In Nepal & Availability
The Y53s 4G comes in purple and is offered in blue, black and green and is being sold in Vietnam for VND 6,990,000 ($ 305 / € 255). There is no official announcement it the phone will drive in Nepal, but if it does then it will be priced around NPR 40,000+.
