Xiaomi New Flagship Laptop Mi Notebook Pro X Launched

Xiaomi has finally unveiled its flagship laptop the Mi Notebook Pro X after teasing it earlier this week. The flagship laptop series is launched in China and comes with features like OLED display and Intel 11 Gen CPUs.

In terms of looks and design, it carries the essence of the earlier Xiaomi notebooks. So without further ado, let’s get into the details

Aesthetically, the Mi Notebook Pro X contains an aluminum body with thin bezels, beveled edges, and a large touchpad. It also features a backlit keyboard and 1.5mm key travel and fingerprint reader in the power button.

In terms of curb weight, its weight is at 1.9kgs and 19mm at the thickest. There is also a 720p webcam attached to it. The special features include a 15.6-inch OLED display with 3456 x 2160 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Similarly, Xiaomi claims that it is coated with Gorilla Glass that packs 100% RGB and DCI-P3 coverage, DC dimming, and 600 nits peak brightness.

The users will also have an option between two Tiger Lake Intel CPUs – the core i7-11370H with a 4.8GHz boost clock or the Core i5-11300H with a 4.4GHz boost clock.

Both the variant comes with an Nvidia RTX 3020Ti with 4GB of GDDR6 RAM, large copper heatsink and dual-fan cooling tech. The Core i5 model gets 16/512 GB RAM & SSD storage. There is also an i7 variant with 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.

For the I/O, the Mi Notebook X Pro gets a USB-C port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In connectivity, it gets a Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support, loudspeaker from Harman, and DTS Audio support.

In the battery, it gets an 80Wh battery with 130W USB-C charging. Its primary color is Space Gray and is available at 7,999 yuan ($1,238) for the i5 model (NRP 1,50,000). The i7 option comes in 9,999 yuan ($1,549) which comes up to (NRP 1,90,000).

It is available in China for pre-order on July 9 with no word of global availability.
